MINISTRIES
Sunday Morning is Just the Start
At DPC, we believe that attendance on Sunday mornings is just the start of what Christian community should look like. We have opportunities to get plugged into small groups, take classes, serve the neighborhood, and make genuine connection with other people.
CHURCH WIDE EVENTS
Sharing life across generations
Church wide events are a welcoming and low-pressure way for you to meet others in a relaxed, fun environment. Whether it’s a shared meal, seasonal celebration, or service project, these gatherings offer natural opportunities for connection across all ages and stages of life. We hope you will find it easy to strike up conversations and get a sense of our warm, inviting culture.
MEN'S & WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Experience genuine community
Men’s and Women’s Ministries provide smaller, focused spaces where you can quickly feel known and encouraged. Through Bible studies, social outings, and retreats, those newer to DPC find common ground and build friendships in a welcoming, supportive setting. These ministries are designed to help people grow spiritually while experiencing real community.
KIDS & YOUTH MINISTRY
Raising the next generation together
Our Kids and Youth Ministry is a vibrant, engaging space where families can immediately feel a part of the church community. Kids enjoy age-appropriate teaching and fun activities and parents have the chance to meet other families and form lasting relationships. It’s a great way for children and students to feel at home and for their families to connect more deeply. We have DPC Kids on Sundays from 4 months to 5th Grade. DPC Youth (6th-12th) meets monthly!
COLLEGE MINISTRY
Support for students
Our College Ministry helps students build meaningful relationships during a pivotal season of life. Through gatherings, mentorship, and service opportunities, students find a strong support network and authentic friendships. It’s easy for students to plug in and experience both spiritual growth and community.
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
Grow together in faith and friendship
Young adults find connection through monthly meet-ups, shared meals, and discussion-based studies that foster real conversation and belonging. Whether you’re new to the area or seeking deeper relationships, this ministry offers easy on-ramps for people to feel included and engaged. It’s a space where faith and friendship grow together.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Find community by joining a small group
Community Groups at Downtown Pres are small groups of 8–14 adults who meet regularly for prayer, mutual care, and fellowship. These groups help us live out our faith in everyday life—walking together through joys, challenges, and ordinary days alike. Some groups meet weekly, others monthly—some meet for dinner or dessert. There is always prayer and sometimes discussion. However often you meet, the goal is the same: to grow in Christ by growing together. We even have a group for those who are new to the church!
More Ministries to Explore
There are more opportunities to get involved and serve at Downtown Presbyterian. Join us on a Sunday morning and come by the Welcome Table. There are friendly folks there who would love the opportunity to tell you more!
